Japanese public broadcaster NHK on Wednesday unveiled a new system to put hidden identifiers into films to trace counterfeit works distributed over the Internet.
With US counterfeit drugs estimated at 34.2 million prescriptions a year, the need for drug authentication is crucial. In answer to this need, XStream Systems, a Florida-based company, has developed an anti-counterfeiting solution.
